9 DAYS HIMALAYAN HIKING YOGA RETREAT - ITINERY

This is our ideal schedule as an orientation. The program can change, depending on traffic, weather or other external circumstances out of our control.

The Journey

Day 1

Arrive at your own pace, settle in, and let the journey begin. Enjoy nourishing meals, explore the ashram and its serene surroundings, connect with fellow participants, or simply relax and ground yourself in peace.

Day 2

  • Fire ceremony (white clothes) & Orientation
  • Lunch
  • Ganga Aarti
  • Dinner

Day 3

  • Cleansing Practice
  • Asana and Pranayama Practice
  • Breakfast
  • Theory class
  • Lunch
  • Asana and/or
  • Meditation
  • Dinner

Day 4

  • Leaving to Himalayas
  • 1st stop: Breakfast
  • 2nd stop: Devprayag (Birthplace of Mother Ganga)
  • 3rd stop: Dhaari Devi temple
  • Arrival in the hotel in the afternoon
  • Relaxation or Walk
  • Dinner

Day 5

  • Hatha yoga practice/ cleansing/ pranayama
  • Breakfast
  • Leaving to Tungnath Temple (3.470 m) & optional Chandershilla Peak Hike (3.690 m) depends on the speed, condition & weather Trek to Tungnath around 4 km (one way) and elevation of ~600 m, Tungnath to Chandershilla 1-2 km (one way) & elevation of ~200m
  • Leaving back to the hotel
  • Dinner

Day 6

  • Hatha yoga practice/ cleansing/ pranayama
  • Breakfast
    Leaving to Debriya Taal Hike (2438 m) and Saari Village Trek of around 3 km (one way) and elevation of ~400 + Village walk
  • optional: Lunch at Sari Village
  • Leaving back to the hotel
  • Dinner

Day 7

  • Hatha yoga practice/ cleansing/pranayama
  • Breakfast
    Leaving to Kartik Swami Temple (3050 m) Trek of 3 km (one way) and elevation of ~340 m
  • optional: Lunch on the way
  • Dinner

Prepare your backpack to go back to Rishikesh the next morning

Day 8

  • Breakfast
  • Leaving back to Rishikesh
  • Lunch
  • Rest & Relax
  • Dinner

Day 9

  • Hatha yoga practice
  • Breakfast
  • Closing Ceremony (white clothes)
  • Check-out

Notes

  • Check out time is until 12 pm the last day. Kindly let us know about your transportation.

  • Additional foods, drinks, snacks etc. will be on your own expanses.

  • The ticket to enter into the forest into Himalayas costs 1700 inr/person. Everybody has to pay the fee on their own. This ticket money goes to the Uttarakhand forest department to maintain the tourist safety and infrastructure of wild life sanctuary.

  • Carry some Indian currency for your personal needs.
